FNAME (Fédération Nationale des Associations de Maîtres E, the national federation of associations of specialised “E” teachers) currently brings together 52 local associations. Its aim is to promote recognition of the specific work and professional identity of the specialised teachers who provide mainly educational support within the RASED, the networks of specialised support for pupils in difficulty within the French national education system.
FNAME positions itself as a key partner in educational thinking on how to address difficulties at school, with the aim of every pupil succeeding. It also puts forward proposals to partner associations and organisations and to institutions, with the aim of supporting a changing school in a changing society. www.fname.fr
