For sustainable, inclusive digital development, with and without AI
What parent hasn’t wondered how to introduce screens into their child’s life? And what parent hasn’t wondered how to set a good example? It was to answer these questions that psychiatrist Serge Tisseron developed the 3-6-9-12 milestones in 2008.
But the rise of generative AI now raises new challenges. How can we talk about AI with our children, and how can we learn to use it ourselves for what it can bring us, without asking it for what it cannot give us?
To help families manage AI well, Serge Tisseron proposed the new 3-6-13-18 milestones in 2020, pending the implementation of the regulatory decisions taken by Europe.
Screens and AI: let’s talk about them, to learn how to use them, and to learn how to do without them.
🏅 From January 2023 to today, we have delivered:
148 talks
38 parent workshops
263 classroom sessions

📜 Manifesto
Technologies based on screens and AI have transformed our relationship to knowledge, the way learning is organised, the construction of identity, relationships and sociability. Our goal is to understand the impact they have on our children’s development, and on our own. And we believe that, through thoughtful prevention and informed education, it is possible to build, for our children and for ourselves, a connected, responsible and creative society.
