The “Parents, children and screens” study

Family life is going digital: a study carried out in June 2018 among 1,011 young parents sheds entirely new light on the digital habits of young parents and those of their children aged 0 to 8. The “Parents, children and screens” study, carried out with the polling institute GECE and including expert advice, aims to inform and support parents in making better use of screens. The study reveals, for example, that 30% of babies have a digital identity before they are even born, because their parents post scan photos online. Nevertheless, the subject of the digital footprint is neglected by 73% of parents.
